Community Singing Sessions
“Singing is connecting”
We run a weekly Community Singing session at Moments Cafe, Plymouth on Fridays at 11.30am.
We are also available to provide one-off sessions or a block of sessions for your community. E.g. Residential homes, libraries, non-profit organisations, local authority groups, local businesses
We’ll sing with everyone. All voices welcome!
Why hold a workshop?
Singing is good for you, is sociable and fun!
There is also research that suggests that singing brings people together quicker than any other activity.
If you are looking for something fun and engaging to do to improve the well-being of your team or community then a singing workshop is the best medicine!

What do we provide?
- One-off singing sessions
- A personalised block of singing sessions (weekly or as requested)
What do sessions include?
- Learning or refreshing song words and tunes.
- A Capella songs (without music) and songs with a backing track.
- A variety of songs: traditional, rounds, partner songs, folk…
For the personalised sessions, we consult to see what sort of genres and songs are favourites.
Sessions are designed to be fun, engaging, social and to exercise memory muscles and cognitive skills.
They will help improve mental well-being, form some escape and bring your team together.
The Coop Local Community Fund.
We have been selected to be a Local Cause for Coop Local Community Fund from Oct 21 to Oct 22. This means that when members buy selected Coop branded products and services, the Coop will give local causes a helping hand.

“Singing & Music has always been an important part of my life and Soul Singers formed as part of my journey of rediscovering who I was after leaving a long career in education. The impact of singing is so positive and powerful.”
